   Mulberry leaf is the dry leaf of mulberry, the daily food of silkworms. Mulberry trees are widely planted in the north and south of China, and the yield of mulberry leaves is rich. The whole leaf blade is ovate, the base of the leaf heart-shaped, the tip slightly pointed, the edge serrated, and the leaf vein densely white pilose. The old leaf is thick and dark green, the tender one thin and yellow green. It is crisp and thorny and tastes slightly bitter. The mulberry leaves are rich in chlorophyll. The natural chlorophyll extracted from folium moris is beneficial to human body. It can be used as food additive, raw material of medicine and ideal natural colorant.
