   Alnuscremastogyne Burk, a deciduous tree, is planted in Sichuan, northern Guizhou, southern Gansu, southwestern Shaanxi, and cultivated in Anwei, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, etc. It is fond of light, warm climate and dampness with strong adaptability to soil, mostly growing in low wetland of river beach. The root system is developed with nodule and strong ability of nitrogen fixation. Wood is used for furniture and plywood. The bark and infructescence are used for tannin extract, and the buds are used for medicine. Leaves fertile fields.
